Where is the implication that the Tall Ghost Girl came after the boy? Both are wearing old-fashioned clothes, and there is no mention of how long it was between the first and second one arriving. ?? 192.54.250.11 23:53, October 31, 2011 (UTC)

Order of Ghost Children's deaths[]

The order of the Ghost Children's deaths is implied by what Coraline tells Wybie when he comes asking for the doll: "It used to look like this pioneer girl [Tall Ghost Girl], then Huck Finn Jr. [Ghost Boy]. then this Little Rascals chick with ribbons and braids [Sweet Ghost Girl] ....Grandma's missing sister! I think I just met her!"

Of course, there's no way Coraline could have known any of this about the Ghost Children since she just met them moments ago and they didn't give her very detailed information when they talked. However, there are two clues that the Sweet Ghost Girl being the most recent victim and Grandma's sister; the doll in the prologue, and Wybie's photo near the end.

(No one will probable respond but whateves :3 ) If we are going to provide info on the order of the children taken then it would be safe to assume that the sweet ghost girl was taken last, due to the hints leading to it. As for the other 2, since Coraline did state how the order was (even without that info from the ghost themselves) it is still the only piece of evidence we can follow. Possibly worth adding. The concern is that it's speculation.[]

Trivia[]

  • The style of the Tall Ghost Girl suggest that she was a pioneer of the early 1900s, time the Girl Scouts of America was formed. Pioneers and these scouts share some similarities. Due to the [Pink Palace] being 150 years old, as told by [Charlie Jones], it is possible that the Tall Ghost Girl was selling cookies, door to door, and the Beldam captured her so.
